These gelli-prints began life from glue-gun masks and I love how they never come out the same, sometimes I print over the original with the ‘ghost-print, creating layers. Oh how I love layers! I worked into these with different colours, sometimes using a ‘baby-wipe’ wash, sometimes drawing in detail. They have the appearance of archeological remains. Not sure how to progress them or use them just yet. I have used gelli-prints on tissue in some of my paintings – that works well. These are on cartridge paper.worked up gelli prints ...bones
