For the first time in over 15 years I will be working in a studio space shared with other artists. This feels both exciting and a bit scary. I have my own area/cubicle and for the past week I have been preparing the space, putting up pinboard and painting it, getting it right for the way I work. Today I got out pieces of work I hadn’t seen for several months – lovely to re-discover them, like greeting old friends. The biggest problem I face is deciding what to take over there and what to keep at home. At the moment I have created a basic ‘kit’ to keep at home so I can do sketches and journaling and work with ideas. The rest is now in the studio. So, watch this space!
