On our ‘adventure’ into Wales in a Motorhome, we were hit by the tail end of the hurricane and felt literally chased out of the country by 50 mph winds and driving rain. Heading inland we fetched up in Llangurig in a sheltered spot in a bowl of hills. But, as I often find, the storm was a metaphor for what was also inside me. Unsettled, doubtful and lacking clarity, feeling swirled around by events out of my control. Like a good Buddhist, I have to sit in the center, find the still point. Not sure I managed it!
