All kinds of cages, all kinds of traps. The most powerful are those, I think, that the mind creates. The things we surround ourselves with that seem like luxuries, sumptuous, colourful but ultimately become punitive because we need them too much, are too attached to ‘things’. So hard to do, let go of my attachment to …..chocolate (!), the car, new clothes as the season changes, even plants for the garden. Today I am sitting with what I want and what I need and being with the difference. And looking at what I have. The cage is open.
